Work­ing field:

The Research Train­ing Group (GRK 2075) "Mod­el­ling the con­sti­tu­tional evol­u­tion of build­ing mater­i­als and struc­tures with respect to aging" which is fun­ded by the Deutsche Forschungs­ge­meinsch­aft (DFG) at Tech­nis­che Uni­versität Braun­sch­weig since Octo­ber 2015 has been exten­ded to 2024. Inter­dis­cip­lin­ary research top­ics con­cern­ing exper­i­mental research, mod­el­ling and numer­ical struc­ture as well as fluid and acous­tic sim­u­la­tions in the fields of phys­ical-chem­ical degrad­a­tion of con­crete, steel and tim­ber offer the pos­sib­il­ity of gradu­ation in one of the involved sub­jects. Pro­jects will be super­vised by pro­fess­ors from the fields of com­pu­ta­tional engin­eer­ing, struc­tural and fluid mech­an­ics,
acous­tics as well as con­struc­tion engin­eer­ing. Fur­ther inform­a­tion on the Research Train­ing Group is avail­able on the web­site .


The pre­requis­ite for employ­ment is an above-aver­age uni­versity degree (dip­loma, mas­ter's degree) in civil engin­eer­ing or a com­par­able tech­nical and/or sci­entific course of study.

What we of­fer:

Remu­ner­a­tion will be in line with the cur­rent Ger­man col­lect­ive pay agree­ment up to TV-L E13, depend­ing on the assign­ment of tasks and ful­fill­ment of per­sonal require­ments. The employ­ment will ini­tially be lim­ited to six months with pos­sible exten­sion of another thirty months. Severely dis­abled per­sons are given pref­er­ence in the case of equal suit­ab­il­ity.
