IT Sup­port Spe­cial­ist / Work­ing Stu­dent

Part time (20 hours/week)

Work­ing field:

  • Provide sup­port for our employ­ees in per­son and via Slack/Zoom
  • Set up new equip­ment for new employ­ees and train them on set­ting up
  • Dia­gnose and troubleshoot­ing tech prob­lems on employ­ees/office equip­ment and soft­ware
  • Sup­port the com­pany imple­ment new hard­ware and soft­ware sys­tems
  • Help the Found­a­tion Tech circle to auto­mate pro­cesses
  • Main­tain the list of equip­ment
  • Nego­ti­ate with sup­pli­ers

Require­ments:

  • You are up for a 20 hours/week con­tract
  • 1 year of exper­i­ence as a Tech­nical Sup­port Spe­cial­ist or sim­ilar role
  • Bach­elor's degree in Inform­a­tion Tech­no­logy, Com­puter Sci­ence or equi­val­ent
  • Abil­ity to pri­or­it­ize tasks based on urgency and import­ance
  • Motiv­a­tion to learn new skills and tech­no­lo­gies
  • Under­stand­ing of web Ser­vices, API and IP based pro­to­cols
  • Exper­i­ence or under­stand­ing in script­ing lan­guages (Perl, Shell)
  • Crit­ical think­ing and prob­lem-solv­ing skills
  • Great com­mu­nic­a­tion skills
  • Flu­ency in Eng­lish and at least B1 level in Ger­man. You should feel com­fort­able deal­ing with sup­pli­ers in Ger­man, as well as set­ting up IT equip­ment in the same lan­guage
