Working stu­dent in the field of "Inter­na­tio­nal Out­re­ach and Enga­ge­ment / Social Media" in Ber­lin (m/f/d)

Work­ing field:

We are loo­king for stu­dents for a posi­tion as working stu­dent in the field of "Inter­na­tio­nal Out­re­ach / Social Media" for our Ber­lin office as of May 1, 2021. As a working stu­dent, you will sup­port our inter­na­tio­nal activi­ties wit­hin the frame­work of our mem­bership in the Inter­na­tio­nal Fede­ra­tion of Infor­ma­tion Pro­ces­sing (ifip.org) in net­wor­king with the glo­bal com­pu­ter sci­ence com­mu­nity and the imple­men­ta­tion of an out­re­ach and social media cam­paign. The goal is to pre­sent infor­ma­tics topics in an inter­na­tio­nal con­text, to con­nect events and experts via social media (Twit­ter, Lin­kedIn and You­Tube) and to streng­t­hen the con­nec­tions to other infor­ma­tics com­mu­nities world­wide. You can expect varied but also chal­len­ging tasks in the areas of social media, net­work buil­ding and main­ten­ance, (online) event manage­ment and rese­arch. The job is paid with 14 €/h for 20h/week.

Require­ments:

  • You are pas­sion­ate about com­puter sci­ence and digit­iz­a­tion top­ics (e.g. Inter­net Gov­ernance, Arti­fi­cial Intel­li­gence, Digital Edu­ca­tion) and have a flair for cur­rent issues.
  • You work inde­pend­ently and on your own ini­ti­at­ive, develop your own ideas and solu­tions, are well organ­ized and flex­ible.
  • You are char­ac­ter­ized by a high level of com­mit­ment and quick com­pre­hen­sion.
  • You enjoy work­ing in small teams, are very reli­able and have good com­mu­nic­a­tion skills.
  • You are con­fid­ent in using social media - espe­cially Twit­ter, LinkedIn and You­Tube.
  • You are flu­ent in Eng­lish - ideally as a nat­ive speaker - and enjoy work­ing in inter­na­tional set­tings.

  • Research and pre­par­a­tion of digit­iz­a­tion top­ics
  • Sup­port­ing the organ­iz­a­tion of inter­na­tional meet­ings, work­shops and events
  • Writ­ing of art­icles, news and event announce­ments
