The Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for Procedural Law is an Institute of the Max Planck Society, which is Germany’s most successful research organization. The Institute in Luxembourg conducts research in the areas of European law of civil procedure, international litigation and arbitration and dispute resolution in the financial markets.
Working field:
The successful candidate will conduct legal research under the supervision of Professor Pierre-Henri Conac - Max Planck Fellow at the MPI, Luxembourg and Professor of Financial Markets Law at the University of Luxembourg. She/He will work on substantive EU and national financial regulation regarding administrative sanctions and procedures, with a view on how to achieve credible deterrence.
You will also be able to work, with the authorisation of Professor Pierre-Henri Conac, on your own publications in the field of financial markets law.
