We are look­ing for a Web-Devel­op­ment Work­ing Stu­dent!

Work­ing field:

Verd­ane is grow­ing, and we are recruit­ing a Web-Devel­op­ment Intern with an entre­pren­eur­ial mind­set and a strong drive to deliver great products. The ideal can­did­ate is pas­sion­ate about code qual­ity and excited about mod­ern Web-Devel­op­ment tool­ing.

You col­lab­or­ate well in a down-to-earth and value-based cul­ture that is com­mit­ted to cre­at­ing long-last­ing rela­tion­ships. You have a can-do atti­tude and the abil­ity to com­mu­nic­ate a vis­ion.

Require­ments:

Respons­ib­il­it­ies:
  • Con­vert the code­base of a mid-sized React web applic­a­tion from ECMAScript to TypeScript
  • Carry out changes to the Flask REST-API and said React web applic­a­tion to develop new fea­tures
  • Man­age ser­vices with Google Cloud Plat­form and Fire­base
  • Help develop the next gen­er­a­tion of Verd­ane data applic­a­tions

Qual­i­fic­a­tions:
  • You know your way around Web-Devel­op­ment with JavaS­cript
  • You have exper­i­ence using Python or are will­ing to learn it
  • Exper­i­ence with TypeScript or data visu­al­iz­a­tion in the browser is an advant­age
  • Flu­ency in Eng­lish, both writ­ten and spoken, is required
  • Flu­ency in Ger­man or a Nor­dic lan­guage is an advant­age
