Work­ing field:

Rese­arch and teach­ing at the Insti­tute of Math­em­at­ics, in par­tic­u­lar in the field of sto­cha­s­tic pro­ces­ses. Teach­ing duties include exer­cise clas­ses (4 semes­ter hours for a full time pos­i­tion) and sem­inars in math­em­at­ical and rela­ted fields.


Suc­cess­fully com­ple­ted uni­ver­sity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in math­em­at­ics and a PhD dis­ser­ta­tion in prob­ab­il­ity the­ory. In-depth know­ledge of the the­ory of sto­cha­s­tic pro­ces­ses and sto­cha­s­tic ana­lysis is expec­ted, ide­ally demon­stra­ted by inter­na­tion­ally vis­ible pub­lic­a­tions in the field. Fur­ther, teach­ing exper­i­ence and skills and com­pet­ences in the organ­iz­a­tion and admin­is­tra­tion of cour­ses and flu­ent know­ledge of Ger­man and Eng­lish are requi­red.
