Work­ing field:

Research and teach­ing in the area of work­ing worlds’ digit­al­iz­a­tion; core research themes are trans­form­a­tion of work and the insti­tu­tional embed­ded­ness of work, includ­ing inter­na­tional com­par­ison. PhD thesis pre­par­a­tion is pos­sible.


Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in soci­ology or com­par­able dis­cip­lines; prefer­ably excel­lent degree; excel­lent know­ledge of recent soci­ology of work; prefer­ably in-depth know­ledge of organ­iz­a­tional soci­ology and/or eco­nomic soci­ology, as well as quant­it­at­ive or qual­it­at­ive meth­ods; exper­i­ence in teach­ing and pub­lic­a­tion; high pro­fi­ciency in Ger­man and Eng­lish; com­mit­ment to the top­ics of the Chair as well as its devel­op­ment.
