Research within the project „Reward-based crowdfunding as gift exchange. On the interconnection of consumption, commitment and community in crowdfunding“, funded by the German Research Foundation. Conducting and analyzing case studies based on interviews, web communication and other empirical data. Preparing research results as conference presentations and research articles. PhD thesis preparation is possible.
successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in sociology or in social sciences (at least 8 terms)
very good knowledge in the field of technology studies or media research
very good knowledge in methods of qualitative research
research experience in the field of technology studies or media research
research experience with methods of qualitative research
good knowledge in the field of sociological theory
Good English language skills are desired.
