Technische Universität Berlin – Faculty VII - Economics and Management, Institute of Economics and Law invites applications for a
Junior Professorship - salary grade W1
for the field of "Digital Currencies/Cryptocurrencies".
The position includes teaching and research duties in the area of „Digital Currencies/Cryptocurrencies“, with a focus on the economic implications of cashless decentralized payment systems. Applicants should have expertise in monetary economics connected with at least one of the following research areas or related fields:
Teaching in the study programs “Industrial Engineering and Management” (Bachelor and Master), “Economics” (Bachelor), “Industrial and Network Economics” (Master), “Sustainable Management” (Bachelor) and “Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability” (Master) is expected. Candidates should be able to teach courses in German and English. Cooperation with colleagues at the Einstein Center Digital Future.
Successful applicants must fulfill the requirements for appointment in compliance with § 102a Berlin Higher Education Act (the information leaflet will be forwarded upon request), including a completed academic education, educational and didactic competences, to be proven by a teaching portfolio (for further Information see TUB Website, quick access no. 144242), qualified achievements in research, usually proven by an outstanding doctoral thesis (PhD) and Research activities in the mentioned fields. We are seeking a scientist with experience in quantitative theoretical or empirical research and in publications in international journals.
