Work­ing field:

  • con­duct­ing soft­ware and hard­ware-in-the-loop exper­i­ments in net­work infra­struc­tures
  • setup of test beds
  • fur­ther devel­op­ment of exist­ing grid mod­els and grid ana­lysis includ­ing optim­iz­a­tion
  • cooper­a­tion with pro­ject part­ners


  • excel­lent com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in elec­trical engin­eer­ing with focus on elec­tric net­works
  • excel­lent Ger­man and Eng­lish lan­guage skills
  • exper­i­ence with static and dynamic sim­u­la­tion of energy net­works
  • very good prac­tical exper­i­ence with sim­u­la­tion soft­ware, i. e. Mat­lab, Sim­ulink, C, Java
  • exper­i­ence in plan­ning / devel­op­ment / oper­a­tion of con­trol sys­tems and com­mu­nic­a­tion links
  • exper­i­ence with applic­a­tion / organ­isa­tion and real­isa­tion of pro­jects
  • com­mu­nic­a­tion with pro­ject part­ners
