Intern (m/f) - Adver­ti­sing Mone­tiza­t­ion Ana­lyst

  • start July/August, for 6 months


The pri­mary goal of this role will be to run AB-tests, gain insights and apply learning to opti­mize and ite­rate on dis­play adver­ti­sing mone­tiza­t­ion across all plat­forms. This posi­tion will report into the Head of Adver­ti­sing and Part­nerships and work clo­sely with the Yield Mana­gers at eBay Klein­an­zei­gen.


  • Sup­port the Yield Manage­ment Team in ana­ly­zing ad inven­tory data and set­ting up reports
  • Deve­lop mea­ningful, rele­vant insights backed by data
  • Trans­late chan­ges in key metrics and KPIs to one (or many) root cau­ses, and syn­the­size mul­ti­ple data inputs to put those chan­ges into con­text
  • Working effec­tively across mul­ti­ple teams and divi­si­ons (pro­duct deve­lop­ment and exter­nal sales house) to create

Er­war­te­te Qua­li­fi­ka­tio­nen:

  • Bache­lors degree in a quan­ti­ta­tive or tech­ni­cal field (Finance, Eco­no­mics, Math, Sta­ti­s­tics, Engi­nee­ring, Com­pu­ter Sci­ence)
  • Fami­li­a­rity with A/B Tes­ting and expe­ri­ment design
  • Must pos­sess very strong ana­lytic, stra­te­gic pro­blem-sol­ving and deci­sion-making skills.
  • Out­stan­ding excel skills for reporting/ana­ly­sis and strong PPT skills for pre­sen­ta­ti­ons towards all kinds of sta­ke­hol­ders are requi­red
  • Basic com­mand of sta­ti­s­ti­cal soft­ware f.e. STATA, SPSS or R and inter­me­diate com­mand of popu­lar BI - Tools such as Google Ana­lytics, Tableau, Qlik­View or others would be bene­fi­cial
  • Strong com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills; ability to publi­cly pre­sent ideas and share infor­ma­tion.
  • Intel­lec­tually curious with a pas­sion for learning new things espe­cially around pro­gram­ma­tic adver­ti­sing
