Lasting Impact of Early Experiences on Learning and Decision-Making
Systems Neuroscience
In the Neural Networks Research Group at the Charité Campus Mitte, a master’s thesis project on the topic ‘Lasting Impact of Early Experiences on Learning and Decision-Making’ is available. We are a dynamic and interdisciplinary team dedicated to researching the neural foundations of learning and memory, as well as investigating risk factors for mental illnesses (https://www.claudiaboehmlab.com). As a master’s student, you will contribute to the development of a new behavioral task for rodents and explore whether and how early experiences have a lasting impact on learning and decision-making behavior in a rat model. You will acquire and apply experimental methods and assist in data analysis using machine learning methods. You will have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing studies and receive individual mentoring. If there is mutual interest, an extension of the role towards a doctoral student position is possible.
Please send your application with a short letter of motivation, a CV and current transcript of records to Claudia Böhm (claudia.boehm@charite.de).
