ACGF Afghan Credit Gua­ran­tee Foun­da­tion

ACGF– Afghan Credit Gua­ran­tee Foun­da­tion is a cha­ri­ta­ble foun­da­tion based in Colo­gne, Ger­many and an office in Ber­lin. ACGF was foun­ded in Sep­tem­ber 2014 by the Ger­man Federal Minis­try for Eco­no­mic Coope­ra­tion and Deve­lop­ment (BMZ) and DEG – Deut­sche Inves­ti­ti­ons- und Ent­wick­lungs­ge­sell­schaft mbH (a mem­ber of the KFW Group). ACGF is fur­ther sup­por­ted with funds pro­vi­ded by the World Bank and by KfW Deve­lop­ment Bank. ACGF is actually working with five Afghan Part­ner Insti­tu­ti­ons is expec­ting new fun­ding from fur­ther inter­na­tio­nal donors in the course of the next mon­ths.

ACGF's mis­sion is to improve access to finance for Micro, Small and Medium Enter­pri­ses (MSMEs) in Afgha­ni­stan by pro­vi­ding credit gua­ran­tees, rela­ted tech­ni­cal assi­s­tance to Part­ner Insti­tu­ti­ons (PIs) – banks, micro-finance, and micro-depo­sit insti­tu­ti­ons and grants pro­vi­ded to Afghan MSMEs. ACGF imple­ments its man­date by pro­vi­ding par­tial credit gua­ran­tees to Afghan finan­cial insti­tu­ti­ons for loans exten­ded to Afghan MSMEs. At pre­sent stage, ACGF is plan­ning to start a grants pro­gram for Afghan entre­pre­neurs.

Stu­dent Assist­ant (f/w/d) Admin­is­trat­ive Man­age­ment Sup­port


Working field:

We are look­ing for a Stu­dent Assist­ant (f/m/d) in Ber­lin or Cologne to sup­port our man­age­ment for 15-20 hours per week. The scope of duties mainly includes ACGF´s stake­holder man­age­ment includ­ing the organ­isa­tion of meet­ings, present­a­tion and report­ing.

Your tasks:

Appoint­ment hand­ling: plan­ning, pre­par­a­tion and fol­low-up of meet­ings as well as coordin­a­tion of appoint­ments for man­age­ment
Coordin­a­tion, pre­par­a­tion and com­pil­a­tion of present­a­tions, stat­ist­ics and pro­to­cols
Sup­port in the pre­par­a­tion of reg­u­larly recur­ring reports Research and other sup­port tasks for ACGF´s man­age­ment
Research and other sup­port tasks for ACGF´s man­age­ment


You are a registered stu­dent at a Ger­man uni­versity or uni­versity of applied sci­ences
You have an excel­lent com­mand of the Eng­lish lan­guage (oral and writ­ten) and good Ger­man lan­guages skills
You are con­fid­ent in using MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power­Point)
You have strong organ­isa­tional and good com­mu­nic­a­tion skills
You work in a struc­tured and inde­pend­ent man­ner
You are ser­vice-ori­ented, com­mu­nic­at­ive and a good team player
