Méde­cins Sans Fron­tiè­res (MSF) is a pri­vate and inde­pend­ent inter­na­tio­nal med­ical aid organ­isa­tion. Diver­sity, open min­ded­ness and mutual respect are of par­tic­u­lar import­ance in our organ­isa­tion. MSF pro­vi­des med­ical aid in more than 70 coun­tries world­wide. The head­quar­ters of the Ger­man sec­tion of MSF - Ärzte ohne Gren­zen e.V. is in Ber­lin. In the head­quar­ters, over 250 employ­ees work in the fun­drais­ing, com­mu­nic­a­tions and engage­ment, fin­ance and admin­is­tra­tion, human resour­ces and pro­ject depart­ments.

Learn­ing and devel­op­ment Assist­ant (f/m/d)

Working field:

In your role you will

  • Provide excel­lent cus­tomer ser­vice by act­ing as the L&D point of con­tact for internal and external stake­hold­ers in all forms of com­mu­nic­a­tion
  • Man­age the learn­ing and devel­op­ment cal­en­dar & mail­box
  • Arrange and con­tinu­ously improve onboard­ing events includ­ing the new buddy sys­tem for all new employ­ees and stu­dents of MSF-Ger­many
  • Man­age the train­ing man­age­ment sys­tem, Share­point (Sapi­ens). Optim­ize the use of this and other sys­tem and pro­cesses.
  • Provide all logist­ical sup­port for our live and online L&D events
  • Sup­port ad hoc pro­ject work in the area of L&D as needed
  • (Co)facil­it­ate ses­sions with the L&D Advisor or other train­ers
  • Pro­duce all rel­ev­ant reports related to Learn­ing & Devel­op­ment


You have
  • Key com­pet­en­cies: Beha­vi­oural Flex­ib­il­ity, stress man­age­ment, ser­vice ori­ent­a­tion, plan­ning and organ­iz­ing, team­work & cooper­a­tion
  • Flu­ent in writ­ten and spoken Eng­lish and Ger­man
  • Good work­ing know­ledge of Excel, Word, Out­look, Power­Point and MS Teams. Know­ledge of Share­Point is an asset.
  • Exper­i­ence and interest in e-learn­ing devel­op­ment and related soft­ware pack­ages, espe­cially Artic­u­late is a strong asset
  • Strong pas­sion for learn­ing and devel­op­ment
  • Degree or equi­val­ent work exper­i­ence in train­ing, adult edu­ca­tion or event man­age­ment
  • Strong com­mit­ment to MSF's vis­ion, mis­sion and way of work­ing

Fin­an­cial bene­fits
  • Pay­ment accord­ing to a trans­par­ent internal salary struc­ture; in this pos­i­tion accord­ing to group 2 with full-time employ­ment (40h/week) from 2,673 Euro to a max­imum of 3,382 Euro, depend­ing on the rel­ev­ant pro­fes­sional exper­i­ence
