Pro­ject Man­ager with spe­cial­iz­a­tion in digit­al­iz­a­tion, private sec­tor devel­op­ment or cli­mate change.

Working field:

For our grow­ing team at the headquar­ters in Ber­lin, we are look­ing for Pro­ject Man­agers with expert­ise in the areas of digit­al­iz­a­tion, private sec­tor devel­op­ment and cli­mate change for devel­op­ment con­sult­ing. We are look­ing for detail-ori­ented, pro-act­ive and respons­ib­il­ity tak­ing indi­vidu­als that aim at cre­at­ing a pos­it­ive impact through high-qual­ity con­sult­ing ser­vices in the global devel­op­ment mar­ket.

Requirements:

  • Out­stand­ing aca­demic cre­den­tials with a Mas­ter’s Degree in Inter­na­tional Stud­ies, Polit­ical Sci­ences, Eco­nom­ics, European Stud­ies or other rel­ev­ant
  • At least one year of pro­ject man­age­ment exper­i­ence for donor-fun­ded pro­jects
  • Exper­i­ence in pre­par­ing fin­an­cial and tech­nical offers for con­sult­ing pro­jects
  • Fully famil­iar with dif­fer­ent donor-spe­cific pro­cure­ment rules related to devel­op­ment cooper­a­tion
  • Proven track record in work­ing with mul­tiple stake­hold­ers (cli­ent, con­sor­tium part­ners, experts)
  • Excel­lent nego­ti­ation skills
  • Full com­puter lit­er­acy and full pro­fi­ciency in Microsoft Office
  • Flu­ency in Eng­lish and/or French is a require­ment, in both lan­guages a strong advant­age
  • Dis­play com­mit­ment and pas­sion for inter­na­tional devel­op­ment
  • Pos­it­ive, “can do” atti­tude

  • Pos­sib­il­ity of trav­el­ling to pro­ject loc­a­tion to ensure effi­cient roll-out of the pro­jects
  • Con­trac­tual and fin­an­cial pro­ject man­age­ment
  • Ensur­ing qual­ity con­trol of spe­cific con­tract out­puts
  • Coordin­ate, advise and develop the deliv­er­ables and con­tent on pro­jects
  • Super­vise, man­age and guide the pro­ject teams toward high-qual­ity res­ults
