As a work­ing stu­dent in the field of Social Media Man­age­ment, you will pro­duce and man­age con­tent for HomeT­oGo's Ins­tagram chan­nel. Ins­tagram is a key stra­tegic engage­ment plat­form for HomeT­oGo and your con­tri­bu­tions will ensure increased con­sumer know­ledge and aware­ness of the HomeT­oGo brand and our asso­ci­ated com­pan­ies as well as the growth of the IG account itself.

The ideal can­did­ate will be both cre­at­ive and prag­matic, enthu­si­astic about all things social media and with a pos­it­ive can-do atti­tude.

  • Co-cre­ate and edit posts and stor­ies (includ­ing simple photo edit­ing) for our social media pro­files, primar­ily our Ger­man Ins­tagram account @homet­
  • Con­trib­ute to mon­it­or­ing and report­ing the suc­cess of cam­paigns and posts, draw­ing your own con­clu­sions on key learn­ings.
  • Com­munity man­age­ment, strength­en­ing our com­munity and enga­ging with our fol­low­ers via dir­ect mes­sages.
  • Sup­port in the coordin­a­tion of edit­or­ial plan­ning and copy­writers’ work, as well as selec­ted cooper­a­tions with Influ­en­cers.
  • Develop and drive your own ideas on how to improve and fur­ther grow our chan­nels.

Er­war­te­te Qua­li­fi­ka­tio­nen:

  • Are a nat­ive level Ger­man speaker and an excel­lent com­mu­nic­ator in both spoken and writ­ten con­texts.
  • Are flu­ent in Eng­lish to a pro­fes­sional level.
  • Have the abil­ity to also work inde­pend­ently, with great atten­tion to detail, with a goal ori­ented atti­tude and a hands-on men­tal­ity.
  • Ideally are pur­su­ing a degree in a mar­ket­ing or com­mu­nic­a­tions related field.
  • Are famil­iar with Ins­tagram and your heart beats “all things social media”.
  • Already have basic know­ledge of pro­ject man­age­ment, time man­age­ment and Google work­space tools.
