Sie leis­tet mit Wis­sens-, Tech­no­lo­gie­trans­fer und Wei­ter­bil­dung einen wich­ti­gen Bei­trag für Gesell­schaft, Kul­tur und Wirt­schaft. Als Tech­ni­sche Uni­ver­si­tät bie­tet die BTU ein bun­des­weit ein­zig­ar­ti­ges Lehr­kon­zept: Bei uns kön­nen Stu­di­en­gänge uni­ver­si­tär, fach­hoch­schu­lisch und dual stu­diert wer­den.

W2-Pro­fess­or­ship Nurs­ing Sci­ence and Nurs­ing
Didactics

with an applic­a­tion-ori­ented approach. The teach­ing oblig­a­tion amounts to 15 course hours.

Work­ing field:

The pro­fess­or­ship is loc­ated at the Insti­tute of Health in Sen­ften­berg. We are look­ing for an exper­i­enced can­did­ate who rep­res­ents the fields of Nurs­ing Sci­ence and Nurs­ing Didactics at their inter­face in teach­ing and research. Exper­i­ence is required in primary-qual­i­fy­ing nurs­ing bach­elor’s degree courses as well as in teacher train­ing degree courses in the field of nurs­ing, and voca­tional train­ing in the nurs­ing pro­fes­sion. The teach­ing duties are to be car­ried out in the bach­elor’s degree course in Nurs­ing Sci­ence, in the mas­ter’s degree course in Voca­tional Edu­ca­tion for Health Pro­fes­sions and, if applic­able, in other planned mas­ter’s degree courses at the Insti­tute of Health. The pro­fess­or­ship is also asso­ci­ated with the man­age­ment of the bach­elor’s degree course Nurs­ing Sci­ence and involve­ment in the fur­ther estab­lish­ment of aca­dem­ic­ally trained nurs­ing staff in the state of Branden­burg. The will­ing­ness to net­work with the research pri­or­it­ies of the fac­ulty, to par­ti­cip­ate in aca­demic self-admin­is­tra­tion and in the pro­fil­ing of the fac­ulty are pre­requis­ites.

The incum­bent is expec­ted to innov­at­ively and cooper­at­ively con­trib­ute to the devel­op­ment of the health focus at the BTU and to the fur­ther devel­op­ment of the BA and MA health degree courses. In par­tic­u­lar, through research activ­it­ies and the pro­mo­tion of young aca­dem­ics, the incum­bent is to con­trib­ute to the aca­demic pro­fil­ing and fur­ther devel­op­ment of both sub­ject areas. In addi­tion, cooper­a­tion schemes with care and edu­ca­tional insti­tu­tions are to be fur­ther developed and cul­tiv­ated.

Fur­ther tasks res­ult from § 42 of the Branden­burg Higher Edu­ca­tion Act (Branden­bur­gisches Hoch­schul­ge­setz, BbgHG) in con­junc­tion with § 3 BbgHG.

Require­ments:

The fol­low­ing cer­ti­fic­ates are expec­ted:
  • a com­pleted dip­loma or mas­ter’s degree in voca­tional edu­ca­tion for health care pro­fes­sions, nurs­ing sci­ence, nurs­ing edu­ca­tion or a com­pleted com­par­able degree pro­gramme;
  • a rel­ev­ant doc­tor­ate in the field of nurs­ing sci­ence or nurs­ing didactics;
  • teach­ing and research activ­it­ies in nurs­ing sci­ence and nurs­ing didactics;
  • com­pleted voca­tional train­ing in the nurs­ing pro­fes­sion.

For this pro­fess­or­ship, the require­ments and con­di­tions of employ­ment accord­ing to §§ 41 para. 1 nos. 1 to 3 and 4b as well as 43 BbgHG apply. Courses are also to be held in Eng­lish. Exper­i­ence in the pro­cure­ment of third-party fund­ing and in the imple­ment­a­tion of third-party fun­ded pro­jects is expec­ted. Your research top­ics should be rel­ev­ant to the Ger­man Research Found­a­tion or com­par­able inter­na­tional research fund­ing insti­tu­tions.
