Applicants must be in at least their third semester of study at a university in Berlin or Brandenburg. We encourage applications from students with an interdisciplinary outlook, who have an interest in learning more about history of science, scientific publishing, and Digital Humanities. Students of a DH or a computer science degree program and humanities students interested in technology are also welcome. They should have the ability to work both independently and in a team. Reliability is a prerequisite. Programming experience would be very welcome but is not obligatory. Native English speakers with a good command of German are especially encouraged to apply.
What we offer:
The salary is paid according to the rates for student employment in the frame of the Max Planck Society’s program to support junior scientists (12,00 € Bachelor students, 13,95 € Master students).
The position (up to 40 hours per month) is initially limited until March 31, 2022 (with the prospect of extension).
