Work­ing field:

Are you pas­sion­ate about mod­ern inform­a­tion tech­no­lo­gies (espe­cially Cloud, Server­less and Block­chain tech­no­lo­gies) and engin­eer­ing meth­ods (fos­ter­ing agil­ity and con­tinu­ous soft­ware engin­eer­ing) that shape and drive the next gen­er­a­tion of dis­trib­uted enter­prise sys­tems? Do you enjoy advan­cing the field and teach­ing and edu­cat­ing oth­ers?

We are look­ing for someone (m/f/d) to join our team of highly motiv­ated and com­mit­ted research­ers and edu­cat­ors invent­ing, innov­at­ing, and teach­ing about high-qual­ity, advanced solu­tions in this con­text. We do found­a­tional as well as applied research, like to build hands-on sys­tem pro­to­types, pub­lish our find­ings in renowned sci­entific com­munit­ies, and trans­fer find­ings to industry and soci­ety. We work both inde­pend­ently and in national and inter­na­tional pro­jects with part­ners from aca­demia and with cor­por­a­tions alike.

As a Postdoc in this team, you will take lead­er­ship. You will work closely with the head of the chair, the team of doc­toral research­ers, as well as with stu­dents. In doing so, you will gain valu­able exper­i­ence qual­i­fy­ing your­self for other lead­er­ship pos­i­tions in aca­demia and in the industry in the future.


You own a suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in a suit­able dis­cip­line and a qual­i­fied Ph.D. degree. Research exper­i­ence in gen­eral and in the tech­no­lo­gies men­tioned above, in teach­ing at Bach­elor and Mas­ter level, and in pro­ject work, are required. Excel­lent Eng­lish lan­guage skills are pre­sumed. Know­ledge of the Ger­man lan­guage is a plus. The abil­ity to teach in both Eng­lish and Ger­man is required.
