Work­ing field:

  • Assumption of tasks in teaching and research,
  • Preparation and realization of lectures in the extent of four semester hours per week,
  • Working on a variety of research topics in the field of numerical mechanics and material modeling, especially in the field of nonlinear mechanics and the finite element method,
  • Development of own program codes and carrying out of simulations.

Require­ments:

  • Successfully completed academic university degree in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable discipline,
  • In-depth knowledge in the fields of continuum mechanics, material theory, finite element methods, corresponding programming experience,
  • Very good language skills in German and English,
  • Independent and goal-oriented working style as well as interest for interdisciplinary tasks,
  • Above-average commitment, communication skills and the ability of team work.
