The Digital Markets Research Group (www.tu.berlin/dm) focuses on exploring digital marketplaces and platforms. Based on customer behavior on platforms we derive management recommendations on how to design a digital market and we develop digitization strategies relating to IoT, through smart products and smart services. Our research centers on exploring the consumer acceptance of new technologies in customer-provider interactions such as AI-based assistants, chatbots, voice-controlled assistants or social robots.

Work­ing field:

  • Research and teaching in the field of digital markets, technology marketing and service management
  • Organization of courses and supervision of theses
  • Conducting research projects
  • Publishing in international scientific journals
  • Presentation of research results at national and international conferences
  • Supervision of projects with research partners
  • Taking over tasks in the administration of the research group

Require­ments:

  • Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in business administrations or a similiar field of study with a focus on management/marketing
  • Knowledge of qualitative/quantitative empirical research methods
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following topics: Digital markets/platforms, technology marketing, digital assistants, digital services, digital innovations, consumer behavior in digital markets, transformative services
