Research Assistant - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - 1st qualification period (PhD candidate)

under the reserve that funds are granted - part-time employment may be possible

Working field:

Collaboration in the teaching project Solarcampus (teaching on the design/planning of PV systems with a focus on the roofs of the TU).
The practical teaching is carried out in semesters and is to be (further) developed with the participation of two half-time positions, academic staff and two tutors. The plan provides for a division into three phases. In the first half of the lecture period, students will be taught the basics of planning PV systems. They will take over the part "construction planning and construction safety" and build up/prepare it. In the second phase, students will plan systems based on a real roof or check existing plans; here you will be available in consultation hours for questions on your subject area. The third part is the writing of a partial aspect of the PV. Finally, the student's performance (presentation, project work and project report) is assessed.
Furthermore, a lively exchange with the university's department IV is planned, e.g. to work out prioritisations of roofs.

Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in a suitable discipline.
We are looking for a person with (in-depth) knowledge in the field of:

  • And/or construction planning in the area of public buildings
