Work­ing field:

The job holder is responsible for all tasks related to the AiF-funded project "Milk as influencers of the glucose metabolism". This includes the development, planning and implementation of scientific experiments, their evaluation, the instruction of students, project management including the writing of interim and final reports, project presentations and scientific publications.
PhD thesis preparation is possible.

Require­ments:

  • successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in food chemistry, food technology, or a comparable subject
  • extensive laboratory experience in the chemical characterisation of proteins and amino acids
  • very good Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • experience in draft and implementation of food chemical and clinical analyses
  • experience in writing scientific publications
  • good command of German and/or English required; willingness to learn either English or German is expected
Desirable qualification:
  • knowledge in project management
  • experience in guiding students
  • very good organizational and communication skills
