Work­ing field:

Research within the framework of a DFG-funded project on "Perceptual learning and neural plasticity in synthetic worlds. The case of distance perception" (WE 4057/21-1), in cooperation with the Neurobiology Group of the University of Leipzig. Generation of audio stimuli for experiments on audiovisual perception by dynamic binaural synthesis and stereoscopic display. Conduction and analysis of the experiments, publication of the results.


  • successfully completed university studies (Diplom, Master or equivalent) with good knowledge in the field of acoustics, with emphasis on audio-visual virtual reality and psychoacoustics
  • very good knowledge of Matlab and/or Python
  • good knowledge of quantitative empirical research (experimental design, statistics)
  • good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written
