The Role

You will sup­port the Offices in EMEA with the goal to boost Atheneum’s pres­ence in the field of pharma and life sci­ence in the DACH region. It is a high growth oppor­tun­ity and the role will be expec­ted to accel­er­ate this growth by estab­lish­ing, deep­en­ing and expand­ing rela­tion­ships with both new and exist­ing cli­ents in this field. This is a unique chance to con­trib­ute to a dynamic, fast grow­ing com­pany in a highly innov­at­ive industry. The role is fast-paced and involves com­mu­nic­a­tion,nego­ti­ation, and sales, along with abil­ity to con­duct primary and sec­ond­ary research. For the right can­did­ate a long-term career path with par­ti­cip­a­tion in the com­pany’s global expan­sion and offices would be a strong pos­sib­il­ity.

What you’ll do:

  • Sup­port­ing the Busi­ness Devel­op­ment team in new cli­ent acquis­i­tion in the field of pharma and life sci­ences area through pro­fes­sional net­work­ing sourcing and qual­i­fy­ing new busi­ness leads report­ing dir­ectly to the Busi­ness Devel­op­ment Dir­ector.
  • Coordin­ate and set up calls and meet­ings with external and internal stake­hold­ers
  • Research­ing new and exist­ing cli­ents in the health­care industry to identify the most rel­ev­ant com­pan­ies and the most import­ant stake­hold­ers within the tar­geted accounts
  • Enga­ging with stra­tegic decision makers of Atheneum’s blue-chip cus­tomer base in the rel­ev­ant sphere by organ­iz­ing and par­ti­cip­at­ing in cli­ent meet­ings and cli­ent calls
  • Sup­port­ing Busi­ness Devel­op­ment by cre­at­ing mar­ket­ing doc­u­ments for cli­ent pitches in the pro­posal phase (present­a­tions, case stud­ies, pro­pos­als) as well as reg­u­lar report­ing of sales KPIs and related admin­is­trat­ive tasks

This is a pos­i­tion for a smart, tal­en­ted indi­vidual with high emo­tional intel­li­gence. You should enjoy con­nect­ing with people, be an exem­plar of pro­fes­sion­al­ism and be enthu­si­astic about exceed­ing goals.

  • Mas­ter study in Bio­chem­istry, Phar­ma­co­logy, Bio­logy, Bio­med­ical Engin­eer­ing or other related Life Sci­ences fields
  • You have first work exper­i­ence/intern­ship already, ideally in the health­care industry
  • Abil­ity to con­duct primary and sec­ond­ary research
  • Abil­ity to build present­a­tions within a very short period
  • Excel­lent writ­ten and spoken skills in Eng­lish and Ger­man
  • Self-organ­ized, out­come-focused and keep­ing up with tight dead­lines
  • Cli­ent-ori­ented with strong busi­ness under­stand­ing
  • Ener­getic and ambi­tious per­son­al­ity
