Milengo GmbH is one of Europe’s lea­ding lan­guage ser­vice pro­vi­ders, offe­ring trans­la­tion and loca­li­za­tion ser­vices to cli­ents in over 70 coun­tries. We cur­r­ently have about 80 employees working at our head­quar­ters, which are loca­ted at the heart of Ber­lin, Ger­many.

Mar­ket­ing Assist­ant (Work­ing Stu­dent)

We are expand­ing our Mar­ket­ing team, and are search­ing for enthu­si­astic can­did­ates who wish to build on their skills in this area.

We are cur­rently seek­ing a part-time work­ing stu­dent to work 20 hours per week as a Mar­ket­ing Assist­ant at our com­pany. The suc­cess­ful can­did­ate will be expec­ted to join our com­pany imme­di­ately.

Work­ing field:

The Mar­ket­ing team’s primary stra­tegic goal is to sup­port the Sales depart­ment in gen­er­at­ing new busi­ness oppor­tun­it­ies and fur­ther devel­op­ing rela­tion­ships with exist­ing cus­tom­ers.

As a Mar­ket­ing Assist­ant, you will learn about many dif­fer­ent aspects of estab­lish­ing first con­tact with inter­na­tional cli­ents. This will involve research­ing, gen­er­at­ing, and qual­i­fy­ing new leads for cus­tom­ers in the U.S. and Europe. You will ini­ti­ate con­tact with senior pro­fes­sion­als via e-mail, so that the Busi­ness Devel­op­ment Man­agers at Milengo are able to cre­ate and present quotes, work­flows, and pro­pos­als for trans­la­tion pro­jects.

On request and in col­lab­or­a­tion with the Mar­ket­ing Man­ager, you will also provide sup­port in the plan­ning and exe­cu­tion of other online and off­line mar­ket­ing activ­it­ies such as dir­ect mail­ing, e-mail mar­ket­ing, webinars, trade fairs, and online ads.

Learn­ing about the pro­file of inter­na­tional man­agers who com­mis­sion trans­la­tions
Research­ing new tar­get busi­nesses and con­tacts using LinkedIn and Xing
Estab­lish­ing first con­tact using a series of tem­plate e-mails
Track­ing and organ­iz­ing cus­tomer inter­ac­tions within a CRM sys­tem (Sales­force)
Report­ing to the Mar­ket­ing Man­ager
Sup­port­ing the plan­ning and exe­cu­tion of online and off­line mar­ket­ing activ­it­ies in col­lab­or­a­tion with the Mar­ket­ing Man­ager
Work­ing in close cooper­a­tion with your fel­low team mem­bers, as well as col­leagues from other depart­ments


Work­ing towards a degree in eco­nom­ics, mar­ket­ing, or another busi­ness-related sub­ject
Avid interest in top­ics related to busi­ness and man­age­ment
Pur­su­ing a long-term career plan in mar­ket­ing, man­age­ment, or recruit­ment
Strong com­mand of writ­ten and spoken Ger­man and Eng­lish
