Research Assistant - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - 1st qualification period (PhD candidate)
part-time employment may be possible
Participation in and also extension of the groups' research
Participation in the teaching activities of the group
Cooperation with and advising of Bachelor and Master students
Close collaboration with other European universities and industry partners
Managing research projects and publishing research results
Assistance with acquisition of new projects
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
fluency in English
ability to work alone as well as in a team in a structured way
experience with reconfigurable systems such as FPGAs
programming experience with embedded systems
Ideally, candidates should have:
German language skills
practical experience with at least one of the following: computer architectures, Application-Specific Instruction Set Processors, GPU architectures, ASIC design, multicore architectures, parallel programming models, operating systems
