Research and teaching at the Institute of Mathematics, in particular in the field of stochastic processes. Teaching duties include exercise classes (4 semester hours for a full time position) and seminars in mathematical and related fields.
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in mathematics and a PhD dissertation in probability theory. In-depth knowledge of the theory of stochastic processes and stochastic analysis is expected, ideally demonstrated by internationally visible publications in the field. Further, teaching experience and skills and competences in the organization and administration of courses and fluent knowledge of German and English are required.
