Work­ing field:

Pro­ject-related activ­it­ies as part of a research pro­ject (3raceIT) deal­ing with optim­iz­a­tion of the prop­er­ties and pro­duc­tion of ortho­pedic cor­sets, as well as sup­ple­ment­a­tion the cor­sets with addi­tional func­tions (e.g. using actu­at­ors, sensors, 4D print­ing, mater­ial com­bin­a­tions, prin­ted elec­tron­ics and the dir­ect print of mov­ing (con­nect­ing) ele­ments).


  • Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in mech­an­ical engin­eer­ing with a spe­cial­iz­a­tion in bio­med­ical engin­eer­ing or pro­duc­tion engin­eer­ing
  • Spe­cial emphasis is placed on exper­i­ence in the areas of:
o Addit­ive man­u­fac­tur­ing pro­cesses
o Meth­od­ical con­struc­tion
o Meas­ure­ment tech­no­logy
o Elec­trical Engin­eer­ing
o Soft­ware devel­op­ment
o Ortho­pedic aids
  • Research requires cre­ativ­ity, self-reli­ance, com­mit­ment and team­work
  • Good Eng­lish skills are desired
