Work­ing field:

Research within the pro­ject „Reward-based crowd­fund­ing as gift exchange. On the inter­con­nec­tion of con­sump­tion, com­mit­ment and com­munity in crowd­fund­ing“, fun­ded by the Ger­man Research Found­a­tion. Con­duct­ing and ana­lyz­ing case stud­ies based on inter­views, web com­mu­nic­a­tion and other empir­ical data. Pre­par­ing research res­ults as con­fer­ence present­a­tions and research art­icles. PhD thesis pre­par­a­tion is pos­sible.


  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in soci­ology or in social sci­ences (at least 8 terms)
  • very good know­ledge in the field of tech­no­logy stud­ies or media research
  • very good know­ledge in meth­ods of qual­it­at­ive research
desir­able qual­i­fic­a­tions:
  • research exper­i­ence in the field of tech­no­logy stud­ies or media research
  • research exper­i­ence with meth­ods of qual­it­at­ive research
  • good know­ledge in the field of soci­olo­gical the­ory
Good Eng­lish lan­guage skills are desired.
