Research Assist­ant - salary grade E13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len (PostDoc)

part-time employ­ment may be pos­sible

Work­ing field:

  • Research within the research group Logic and Semantics (Postdoc)
  • Devel­op­ing a struc­tural the­ory for dir­ec­ted graphs, in par­tic­u­lar, dir­ec­ted graph minors, fun­ded by an ERC grant
  • The group’s work­ing lan­guage is Eng­lish.

Require­ments:

  • Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) and PhD in Com­puter Sci­ence or Math­em­at­ics in these areas
  • Strong interest in the­or­et­ical com­puter sci­ence.
  • A strong back­ground in struc­tural or algorithmic graph the­ory
  • Good com­mand of Eng­lish is expec­ted
Bene­fi­cial:
  • Very good know­ledge in the areas of graph minor the­ory, struc­ture the­ory for dir­ec­ted graphs, or para­met­er­ized graph algorithms are bene­fi­cial.
