Edit­or­ial Assist­ant (part-time)

We are cur­rently look­ing for a col­league to assist our edit­or­ial team with acquir­ing images and clear­ing image rights.

Work­ing field:

Your tasks:
  • Acquis­i­tion of images and texts for vari­ous book pro­jects
  • Rights clear­ance of images
  • Com­mu­nic­at­ing dir­ectly with the con­trib­ut­ors of our book pro­jects
  • Assist­ing with vari­ous tasks in the edit­or­ial team


Your pro­file:
  • You have excel­lent pro­ject man­age­ment skills, detail ori­ent­a­tion and can man­age time, budget and qual­ity
  • You have strong com­mu­nic­a­tion and nego­ti­ation skills and like to talk on the phone
  • You are famil­iar with data­bases and an MS office pro
  • You are inter­ested in image acquis­i­tion and image rights
  • You have an interest in pub­lish­ing and a wide range of top­ics
  • You are flu­ent in both Eng­lish and Ger­man
