Work­ing field:

Research and teach­ing (4 SWS for full-time) in the field of func­tional ana­lysis (with a focus on applied har­monic ana­lysis, com­pressed sens­ing, and math­em­at­ical sig­nal and image pro­cessing); assist­ance in the self-admin­is­tra­tion of the fac­ulty, assist­ance with dis­ser­ta­tions and theses.


Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in math­em­at­ics, tech­no­mathem­at­ics, or math­em­at­ical eco­nom­ics; thor­ough expert­ise in applied ana­lysis and func­tional ana­lysis and related fields is a pre­requis­ite; good pro­gram­ming skills would be an asset.
Interest in basic research as well as in applic­a­tions; exper­i­ence in man­aging and car­ry­ing out tutori­als and excer­cises.
