Having been committed to sciences and the engineering before the reunification of Germany, TU Dresden now is a multi-discipline university, also offering humanities and social sciences as well as medicine.

The position is starting at the earliest possible date for a period of 3 years within the framework of a project funded by the German Research Foundation. The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz - WissZeitVG).
The position offers the chance to obtain further academic qualification (e.g. PhD / habilitation thesis).
Research work on the project "Development of Complex Behavior in Memristor Cellular Neural Networks".
very good to good university degree in the field of electrical engineering, physics or related fields; ability and willingness for independent, conceptual work in a team; interest in practice-oriented, interdisciplinary cooperation with cooperation partners from industry; good German and English skills. Advantageous are knowledge of Memristors with nonlinear systems and methods for the analysis and modeling of nonlinear dynamical systems.
