Water Integrity Network - Non-Profit-Organisation
The Water Integrity Network (WIN) supports and connects an open network of partner individuals, organizations, and governments promoting water integrity to reduce corruption and improve water sector performance worldwide.
We research the impact of corruption and poor integrity in the water sector and advocate for integrity as a crucial requirement to achieve the global development agenda. We develop and promote tools for more Transparency, Accountability, Participation, and Anti-corruption measures at all levels. We do this with a focus on capacity development and risk prevention, with the aim of improving water sector performance to the benefit of all, especially the most vulnerable.
Our vision is a world with equitable and sustained access to water and a clean environment, which is no longer threatened by corruption, greed, dishonesty and wilful malpractice.
Internship Opportunity at the Water Integrity Network (WIN)
WIN is recruiting a part-time intern for a period of six months, to support WIN at its office in Berlin, Germany, with communications, research and knowledge management projects.
Policy- Water Policy and Water Management
The position is open for students or recent graduates in communications, international relations, political sciences or related disciplines. Students focusing on water management or water governance will have priority. A demonstrated interest in anti-corruption, good governance, or human rights topics would also be a valuable asset.
Other skills required are:
Proficiency in English (both written and oral). Additional language skills (especially French, Spanish, and German) a definite plus.
Interest and experience in research and writing.
Ability to work in Germany (valid work permit if required)
Previous experience working with content management systems like WordPress or with online or offline software and apps to design graphics would be an advantage but is not required.
