Technische Universität Berlin offers an open position:

Research Assistant - 0.75 working time - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen

Working field:

Fundamental research in the field of theoretical physics in nonlinear optics and exciton dynamics in the framework of the DFG-project "Coherent many body effects in degenerated exciton ensembles in van der Waals heterostructures".

Requirements:

  • successfully completed university degree (Master, Diploma or equivalent) in physics or a related field
  • very good knowledge in theoretical physics, with a focus on the microscopic theory of optical dynamics and many-body physics, in particular non-local response of electronic or excitonic systems in magnetic or electric fields
  • good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
  • good didactical and programming skills are necessary

Desirable:

  • high level of commitment and ability to work independently
