The EU-Project MobiliTraIN is an international training network focusing on the development of ion mobility-high resolution mass spectrometry (IM-HRMS) together with 21 partners from academia and industry. Aim of this particular project is the development and refinement of models for the theoretical prediction of collision cross sections. Central for this will be the in-depth structural characterization of few selected standards using a combination of gas phase infrared spectroscopy, ion mobility spectrometry and density functional theory.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge in the areas of mass spectrometry, ion mobility spectrometry and action spectroscopy.
  • Planning and execution of DFT calculations and their comparison with experimental data.
  • Experience in working with biomolecules.
  • High motivation for independent scientific work.

How to apply:

We look forward to receiving your application, which should include the following documents:

  • A one-page letter of motivation why you want to work in the EU-Project MobiliTraIN, together with details of previous research experience and future goals
  • Your CV (including a list of publications if applicable),
  • Evidence of your academic achievements including copies of your Bachelor's and Master's degrees,
  • At least two letters of support.
