The Chair of Climate Informatics is in close cooperation with the Chair of Data Science at TU Dresden, both headed by Prof. Jakob Runge. The working group develops innovative methods from the fields of causal inference, non-linear dynamics and machine learning to analyse Earth system data. The group works closely with climate scientists and makes an important contribution to climate change research.
