The "Intelligent Systems" department lead by Professor Marc Toussaint research and teach in the field of AI and Robotics. In particular, the research group develops methods that combine AI planning, machine learning and optimisation to solve fundamental problems in Robotics and AI. The department is part of the Cluster of Excellence Science of Intelligence and the ELLIS network.
In a cooperative project with the Stuttgart Center for Computational Design and Construction we address highly interesting and challenging problems, rethinking robotic manipulation, architectural design and construction holistically. As part of this cooperation, we are seeking for a PostDoc with a strong track-record in AI & robotics research to join us.
