The position is based at the Department of Plant Ecology at the Institute of Ecology of the TU Berlin - "Berlin School of Urban Ecology". We investigate the structure, dynamics and functionality of ecosystems and landscapes in response to climate and land use change. Our work focuses primarily on urban, coastal and estuarine systems. The most important tool is statistical and process-based modeling on the basis of diverse field studies. The focus of the position will be on the investigation of interactions and feedbacks between abiotics and biotics, but you can develop your own research profile depending on your skills and interests.
