Technische Universität Berlin offers an open position:

Research Assistant - 0.6667 working time - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - 1st qualification period (PhD candidate)

Working field:

  • Participation in research and teaching at the Chair
  • Participation in research in the development and evaluation of new solvent models
  • Application of modern quantum-chemical methods to various chemical questions

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in chemistry, physics or mathematics
  • Very good knowledge in quantum chemistry
  • Solid background in mathematical and physical aspects
  • Knowledge of a relevant programming language (C, C++, and/or Fortran9x)
  • The ability to teach in German and/or in English is required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills

Diserable:

  • Ability to work in a team and the dedication to carry out the scientific work autonomously
