Research Assistant - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - 1st qualification period (PhD)
Part-time employment may be possible
Working field:
- participation in teaching and research, esp. acquisition of research projects, at the department Integrated Transport Planning.
- supervision of teaching modules in the field of principles and measures of integrated transport planning, transport planning measures and their impact on STEEP factors, planning processes, participation procedure, development of transport concepts and interrelationships between transport, urban areas and environment.
- supervision and assessment of theses in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs
Requirements:
- successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) ) in the field of transport planning, urban and regional planning, geography, social sciences or related disciplines is required.
- good knowledge of the principles of transport planning at all planning levels and integrated transport planning is required.
- the ability to teach in German and/or English is required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills.
- communication and teamwork skills are desirable.
- knowledge of mobility and transformation research is an advantage
