The working group of the Department of Hydrogeology investigates the sustainable management of water resources as well as the complex behavior of pathogens and microorganisms in the environment. The future position holder is integrated in an interdisciplinary working group of engineers and natural scientists.

- successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in geosciences or geoecology (specialization in hydrogeology)
- a PhD in the field of biogeochemical modeling in soil or groundwater is required
Furthermore advantageous are:
- programming skills
- experience in environmental risk assessment concepts
- good knowledge of English and basic knowledge of German
- first experience in publishing research results
The successful candidate will have good communication and presentation skills as well as gender and diversity competence.
