University degree in economics and doctorate in the area of public economics
- distinguished aptitude for scientific work, proven by a very good doctorate, ideally no longer than four years ago
- sound theoretical knowledge in the area of public economics, ideally in the field of tax theory (optimal tax theory/international taxation) and/or public choice
- interest in working on theoretical and empirical scientific questions in the field of taxation and/or political economy
- very good written and spoken German as well as English language skills
