Technical-economic research in the field of logistics in the context of international cooperation
with developing countries (in specific with sub-Saharan African countries)
Implementation of the project "ASONG – Affordable Sustainability for Logistics Networks in
Ghana ", which in cooperation with local universities and companies aims for a more practice-oriented logistics education
Networking and exchange with other projects supported by the DAAD's "Practical partnerships between universities and companies" programme
Independent implementation of practical case studies, system planning and research projects
in cooperation with companies and institutions
Supervision of student exchanges with Ghanaian project partners
Successfully completed university degree (Diploma, Master or equivalent) in a field related to
the position (economic engineering, economic mathematics or economic informatics)
In-depth knowledge of logistics management and technologies, manufacturing logistics and
practical experience in the
First experiences in working and coordinating with international teams
Above-average general IT skills and experience with office applications
Very good knowledge of languages (minimum requirements: fluent German and English),
High motivation, ability to work in a team and flexibility
High willingness for regular travel to Ghana and to project partners
First experiences in industry and experience abroad are an advantage
Initial research experience in the field of logistics in developing countries is an advantage
