Sup­port us in build­ing the self-ser­vice product and develop con­cepts for data man­age­ment, ana­lysis and data sci­ence and thus drive the digital trans­form­a­tion at the power grid oper­ator.

Our data team is build­ing an envi­ron­ment to enable data-cent­ric work at 50Hertz. Data Self-Ser­vice is one of our offer­ings to busi­ness users who want to work with data inde­pen­dently. Our users come from all depart­ments of the com­pany and have dif­fer­ent skills, for example data ana­lysts, data sci­ent­ists or no data back­ground at all. To address the dif­fer­ent skills and needs, we offer tools for pro­cessing, trans­form­ing, visu­al­iz­ing data. In order to intro­duce the employ­ees to the tools and sup­port them in their devel­op­ment, there is a great need for com­muni­cation and train­ing. There­fore, we are look­ing for ener­getic sup­port in the fol­low­ing tasks:

Your tasks:

Sup­port in the devel­op­ment of train­ing mater­i­als for the tools

• Cre­ation of tutori­als, onboard­ing mater­ial and best prac­tice doc­u­ments for cluster com­put­ing with Dat­ab­ricks (Spark, Python, PyS­park, SQL) in col­lab­or­a­tion with IT experts
• Cre­ation of tutori­als, onboard­ing mater­ial and best prac­tice doc­u­ments for Power BI (DAX, M, SQL) in col­lab­or­a­tion with IT experts

Sup­port the Data Team in set­ting up internal and external com­muni­cation (mainly in Share-Point)

• Build­ing a doc­u­ment­a­tion strategy for the Data Team
• Main­tain­ing the intranet pres­ence of the team
• Cre­at­ing the doc­u­ment­a­tion and know­ledge base

Fur­ther tasks around the Data Plat­form in the team are pos­sible (e.g. per­form­ance ana­lyses in Dat­ab­ricks, sup­port in busi­ness ana­lyses

Your pro­file:

• pur­su­ing an advanced Bach­elor's or Mas­ter's degree with a focus on com­mu­nic­a­tion or a com­par­able field of study, e.g.: ((media) com­mu­nic­a­tions, busi­ness inform­at­ics, indus­trial engin­eer­ing)
• have exper­i­ence with one or more of the fol­low­ing tech­no­lo­gies: Python, Spark or Dat­ab­ricks, Share­Point, Microsoft Power BI
• have some exper­i­ence in cre­at­ing com­mu­nic­a­tion and train­ing mater­i­als (e.g., design­ing web pages, writ­ing art­icles, edit­ing videos)
• have good com­mu­nic­a­tion skills in an inter­na­tional envir­on­ment
• have an ana­lyt­ical mind­set com­bined with organ­iz­a­tional skills, team ori­ent­a­tion as well as an inde­pend­ent and struc­tured way of work­ing
• are pro­fi­cient in the com­mon MS Office pro­grams (Excel & Power­Point)
• have pro­fi­ciency of spoken and writ­ten Eng­lish (C1) and Ger­man (B2) (other lan­guages such as French or Dutch could be a plus)
