As a Labor & Employee Rela­tions Work­ing stu­dent, you will be part of our global Employ­ment Law & Labor Team work­ing closely with the Labor Rela­tions Man­ager as well as the busi­ness stake­holder and works coun­cils. You will learn that Labor Rela­tions work is very diverse and excit­ing! It gives you a great inside of the cur­rent and future activ­it­ies of a global tech­no­logy com­pany. No day is like the other and we will give you the oppor­tun­ity to act­ively work on and learn from a vari­ety of busi­ness and Labor Rela­tions top­ics in an inter­na­tional sur­round­ing!

But we are still miss­ing your sup­port to exactly do that! This role cov­ers both, the admin­is­tra­tion and coordin­a­tion of key Labor and Employee Rela­tions activ­it­ies. Thus, it is a unique oppor­tun­ity to step into the field of Labor and Employee Rela­tions in a fast-paced tech­no­logy envir­on­ment.

Key duties:

• Serve as point of con­tact for incom­ing labor and employee rela­tion quer­ies/mat­ters
• Respond to works coun­cil requests for inform­a­tion (in close align­ment with the LR Man­ager)
• Work closely with Legal, HR and the busi­ness stake­hold­ers man­aging the required inform­a­tion and con­sulta­tion pro­cesses in Ger­many often related to the fol­low­ing top­ics: sur­veys, IT tool imple­ment­a­tion, com­pany policies, train­ings
• Man­aging the inform­a­tion or approval pro­cess with the Ger­man Works Coun­cils
• Sup­port the con­sulta­tion of com­plex pro­jects in cooper­a­tion with the LR (Labor Rela­tions) Man­ager.
• Coordin­ate meet­ings and man­age LR cal­en­dar
• Con­duct Labor Rela­tions Pro­ject Track­ing
• Act­ively con­trib­ute to the con­tinu­ous improve­ment of the LR func­tion (e.g., train­ing and inform­a­tion

ses­sions)

 

You are enrolled in a Ber­lin/Branden­burg Uni­versity and study prefer­ably Law, Human Resources/Busi­ness Admin­is­tra­tion/Organ­isa­tional Psy­cho­logy or sim­ilar. You are inter­ested in Labor Rela­tions, a strong team player who enjoys a fast paced, evolving inter­na­tional envir­on­ment. You would like to gain exper­i­ence in work­ing with Works Coun­cils in Ger­many and people from dif­fer­ent back­grounds all over the globe. Moreover, you have...

• Strong admin­is­trat­ive skills and high atten­tion to detail
• Flu­ent in Ger­man and Eng­lish is a must.
• Abil­ity to build long term rela­tion­ships and put effort in earn­ing trust
• Struc­tured way of work­ing, with a rig­or­ous and detailed ori­ented approach
• Abil­ity to work effect­ively in a global net­work and build the neces­sary rap­port and rela­tion­ships to be suc­cess­ful and to learn fast
• Exper­i­enced in MS Office

It is a 20hrs/week con­tract for 6 months with a pos­sib­il­ity to extend.

You can take dif­fer­ent courses and train­ings at our online Uni­versity and join cross-team pro­jects within our Tal­ent Plat­form. Besides, our Ber­lin office is loc­ated in Mitte with a lot of pub­lic trans­port­a­tion options and facil­it­ies (res­taur­ants, super­mar­kets, phar­ma­cies).
