Teaching and research in the field of statistical physics of soft matter and biological systems with the focus on non-equilibrium statistical physics, active systems, complex fluids, and (bio-)fluid dynamics at our institute.
successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in physics or a comparable subject
very good knowledge in theoretical physics
very good prior knowledge in statistical physics of soft matter and biological systems as well as experience in numerical methods are desirable
high level of commitment and ability to work independently
