Working field:
Teaching and research in the field of statistical physics of soft matter and biological systems with the focus on non-equilibrium statistical physics, active systems, complex fluids, and (bio-)fluid dynamics at our institute.
Requirements:
- successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in physics or a comparable subject
- very good knowledge in theoretical physics
- very good prior knowledge in statistical physics of soft matter and biological systems as well as experience in numerical methods are desirable
- high level of commitment and ability to work independently
- very good command of German and English
- good didactical skills are advantagous
