Research Assistant - 0.75 working time - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen

Working field:

Research in the field of statistics of stochastic partial differential equations (SPDE) within the project A01 "Statistics for SPDE" of the CRC 1294 Data Assimilation (see https://www.sfb1294.de). PhD thesis preparation is possible.

Requirements:

  • successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in mathematics
  • solid knowledge in Stochastic Analysis
  • additional in-depth knowledge in the theory of partial differential equations or nonlinear evolution equations is desirable
  • good command of German and/or English required, both written and spoken, willingness to acquire lacking language skills in either English or German is expected
