Work­ing field:

  • scientific research (experimental and theoretical) in the field of synthetic organic chemistry, organometallics and catalysis: planning, development and implementation of scientific-technical experiments on a laboratory scale; data processing and evaluation; preparation of scientific reports and presentation of research data; assistance in writing project and research proposals for externally funded projects; documentation and archiving of research data
  • organization, maintenance and safety of the scientific research in the field of synthesis and catalysis: responsibility for laboratory orders; ensuring proper operation, technical maintenance, quality control and repair of the scientific equipment
  • instrumental analysis and maintenance of scientific equipment: method development in spectroscopic as well as chromatographic analysis methods; independent maintenance of current and future equipment; instruction and training of employees
  • assistance in research and experimental teaching in organic chemistry: planning, development and implementation of demonstration experiments for teaching purposes


  • successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in organic or organometallic chemistry
  • comprehensive knowledge in the field of synthetic organic chemistry, organometallics and catalysis
  • pronounced experimental skills and experience in laboratory work under inert gas atmosphere
  • competent expertise in spectroscopy and chromatography
  • very good command of the German and English language in speaking and writing is required
